PHRASAL VERBS

It is a verb that is accompanied always of a preposition or an adverb and acquires this way a meaning different from that of the original verb

Example:

Try on (clothes)

I tried on a coat in the shop, but it didn’t fit me very well.

Turn up (It means to come or to appear)

¿Has Anibal turned up today? I haven’t seen him

Hand in (To present, to deliver)

The shod must be handed in by the end of the day

Put somebody off (doing something)

We wanted to go to the cinema, but we were put off by the long queue.

Get away

Study has been so stressful, I need to get away!

Grow up 

Pablo grew up in Spain but now he lives in Argentina

Fix up (a meeting)

We’ve fixed up a meeting of work for next Wednesday.

Away

We’re going away on holiday today to Francia

Call off

Camila called off the party!

Back (To go back to some place)

PERSONAL PRESENTATION

My name is Sandra Milena Yepes Alzate I am 21 years old, my civil state is single, I live in the municipality of Turbo Antioquia with my parents and siblings. I am student of psychology and I am in the seventh semester of the career. I am a happy person, I like to learn, to discover new things, I like to listen music, to read, to see movies, to share with my family and friends.

I like English language because I opened the door to new opportunities in the workplace

In the course of English b1 + I expect to acquire new learnings that facilitate a better performance to me to the moment to practice it in the daily life

My family is joined, happy and enterprising, they are collaborators, solidary and nice with the persons. I am an optimistic person, responsible, dynamic, flexible and active. I want to study very much to be able to exercise my career with very much success.

I am a person full of life, with many attitude and enthusiasm to fulfill my goals future.  Nowadays I am employed with my family at the creation of a small enterprise of sales; the aim is that at future it is very competitive and generates earnings that allow his major growth. On the other hand I am studying psychology since to future I expect to offer my help to the persons who need it and to achieve positive changes in the persons and to improve the quality of life of all. Every day I seek always to give the better thing of me and to help to my family in everything what they need since they are what more I love and to future I wait to be still close, fulfilling our projects of life with God ahead.  With my family we are working very much to enjoy a few well deserved vacations in Cartagena; at this moment we are very nice of health and we trust that to future they will give themselves all our goals.
